Black Entertainment Television (BET) system is in action following Nicki Minaj discharged an offensive tweet delivered to her. An apology has been first issued Monday night along with an internal investigation is in process.

During the 2019 awards series Nicki hit at BET saying she is canceling all the further endeavors with the network.

She claimed a tweet was delivered to her BET about being ‘hauled by her lacefront [wig]’ adding that Grammys are bullying her for seven decades.

However, the tweet was deleted swiftly.

A BET published statement read, “Unfortunately, the respect we have for Nicki was violated by this post that should never have been written. The post does not reflect how we feel about Nicki. And further does not reflect our company values.”

BET added they deeply apologizes Nicki for the confusion, disappointment and harm due to their tweet which should not have been submitted.

The network further said their article doesn’t reveal how they feel about the celebrity and not the worth of BET.

BET confirmed an internal audit is in progress to ensure such articles aren’t published again.

The hitmaker earlier denounced the system and the tweet saying, “Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show. Summer Tour dates dropping soon.”

Meanwhile, Nicki is encouraging followers to have blessings of the BET weekend event should be stored in June as she wouldn’t be performing the Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
